Onward! With Persistence!

Sarah and Persistence Mushing work in partnership Will Troshynski and ATAO Kennel. I have been learning and training under Will’s mentorship for going on 6 seasons now.

I assist with training the teams, caring for the dogs, fixing equipment, various chores around the kennel, handle for Will at races, and help a little bit of everything else involved in running a kennel.

In exchange, I’ve had an incredible learning opportunity and have gotten to spend my winters with some of the most amazing dogs. This year, in partnership with ATAO Kennel, I will be working towards completing my first Iditarod qualifier, with the hopes of running my rookie Iditarod in the near future.

It’s been an honor and privilege to watch the team grow over the last several years. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs but we’ve always made it through. I am so stoked to see what this season has in store for us!
